27 FEBRUARY 2025 – After months of meticulous planning and unwavering dedication, KISMEC proudly hosted the inaugural Kedah TVET Strategic Implementation Roadmap Workshop—a groundbreaking initiative to strengthen the TVET ecosystem in alignment with The National TVET Policy and the Greater Kedah initiative.

This transformative event brought together visionary leaders from top companies, government agencies, institutions, and industry experts, united by a shared mission to drive state and national development through TVET.

Spearheaded by YB Dr. Haim Hilman, Kedah’s Exco (Industry and Investment, Higher Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation), and in strategic partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), this workshop was more than a platform for discussion—it was a movement. Every insight shared, every idea exchanged, and every perspective voiced carried a single purpose: to equip our youth with future-ready skills and opportunities.

With brilliant minds, experienced professionals, and dedicated stakeholders coming together, we have laid the foundation for a unified strategic roadmap—one that ensures TVET remains a key driver of talent development, technological advancement, and long-term progress.
